THE PURPOSE

만약 포장도로를 빠르게 질주하고 싶기도 하지만 가끔은 비포장도로까지 도전하고 싶은 경우라면 4 Season All-Road Disc wheelset은 그런 당신을 위한 휠셋이다. 더 많은 스포크 갯수와 대구경 더블 실드 카트리지 베어링으로 당신이 도전하고자하는 것을 즐길 수 있게 해준다. 20mm 내부림폭은 25-35mm 타이어에 최적이며 25-50mm tires까지도 장착이 가능하다. 비포장 라이딩, 바이크패킹, CX 코스 등을 자신감있게 도전할 수 있다. 고사양의 림, 허브, 스포크에 투자했기에 최대 짐을 포함하여 130킬로까지 사용할 수 있다.

FEATURES

HUB - 헌트가 개발한 H_Ratchet 36T 싱글 사이즈 hub system으로 J-bend spoke interface와 확장된 bearing shielding을 가진다. 36T 라쳇으로 10도의 체결각도를 가진다.

RIMS - 강하고 경량의 6061-T6 열처리된 림으로 비대칭 형태를 지녀 균형된 더 높은 스포크 텐션을 오랜 기간 유지할 수 있다. 디스크 전용 림으로 브레이크를 위한 림표면 보강이 필요없어 무게 대비 더 높은 강도를 가진다.  26mm의 넓은 외부림폭과 22mm의 내부림폭으로 25-50mm tires 장착시 최상의 타이어 형상을 가져 탁월한 그립과 더 낮은 구름저항을 가진다. 

BEARINGS - 휠의 심장인 베어링은 고정밀의 실드 카드리지 베어링에 특허받은 방수 그리스를 도포하여 최악의 날씨에도 사용할 수 있도록 하였다. 

FREEHUB BODY - 내구성은 헌트휠셋의 핵심철학이며 수리에 필요한 비용과 시간을 아껴 당신이 보다 라이딩을 즐기고 업그레이드할 수 있도록 해준다. H_CERAMIK 코팅적용으로 탁월한 내구성을 지니며 카세트로부터 발생할 수 있는 데미지를 방지한다.  

SPOKES - Pillar 트리블 버티드 스포크로 더 가볍고 텐선을 유지하고 피로저항성을 추가할 수 있는 더 높은 유연성을 제공한다. 이 PSR J-bend spokes는 스포크 헤드에 가해지는 높은 스트레스를 견디기 위해 2.2mm 폭으로 더 많은 소재가 적용되어 보강되어 있다.

NIPPLES - 고급 스포크에 맞는 니플로 황동 소재를 선택하여 강하고 부식저항성도 높고 자가 윤활작용이 있어 겨울도로의 염화칼슘으로인한 나사선 부식의 문제를 막아준다. 4각 대신 6각 헤드를 선택하여 보다 정밀한 텐션조절이 가능하도록 하였다. 

RIM BED - H-Lock tubeless-ready rim bed 형상으로 H-Lock은 튜브리스 타이어 장착과 밀봉이 보다 쉽도록 해주는 형상이다. 따라서 H-Lock 형상은 한번 타이어가 장착되면 보다 비드에 완전히 밀착되도록 해준다. 이러한 특성은 오프로드에서 더 낮은 공기압으로 달릴 수 있도록 해주기에 중요하다. 

WEIGHT - 세부적인 사항에 대한 집중으로 믿을 수 없는 내구성과 1,629그램의 낮은 무게를 실현할 수 있어 가속과 업힐에서 기본 휠셋으로 장착되어 나오는 디스크 브레이크 알로이 휠셋보다 월등한 성능향상을 체감할 수 있다.

THE PURPOSE

You want to ride fast on roads, but often the routes will take us lead to the paths less travelled. The 4 Season All-Road Disc wheelset is for you. Roam, find undiscovered routes, and just have a blast. With a high spoke count and large double-sealed cartridge bearings, you can enjoy exploring knowing your wheels are up to the task. The 22mm (internal) rim is ideal for 25-35mm tires, but will work well from 25-50mm tires (check compatibility with tyre manufacturer), so you can explore, go bike-packing, rip any trails or CX courses you fancy, and do it all with confidence. We’ve invested in high-specification rims, hubs and spokes, so you don’t pay a weight penalty for that extra off-road durability.

FEATURES

HUB - HUNT H_Ratchet 36T SGL hub system with J-bend spoke interface and extra bearing shielding. 10-degree engagement angle with 36 tooth ratchet internals. 

RIMS - A strong and lightweight 6061-T6 heat-treated rim features an asymmetric shape which is inverted from front to rear to provide balanced higher spoke tensions meaning your spokes stay tight for the long term. The rim profile is disc specific which allows higher-strength to weight as no reinforcement is required for a braking surface. The extra wide rim at 25mm (22mm internal) which creates a great tire profile with wider 25-50mm tires, giving excellent grip and lower rolling resistance.

BEARINGS - The heart of any wheel. Investing in them makes huge sense. We use high-grade precision sealed cartridge bearings with proprietary waterproof grease specially selected for even the worst weather.

FREEHUB BODY - Durability is a theme for HUNT as time and money you spend fixing is time and money you cannot spend riding or upgrading your bikes. As a result, we've developed the H_CERAMIK coating to provide excellent durability and protect against cassette sprocket damage often seen on standard alloy freehub bodies.

SPOKES - We chose Pillar triple butted spokes, lighter and providing a greater degree of elasticity to maintain tensions and add fatigue resistance. The PSR J-bend spokes feature the 2.2 width at the spoke head providing more material in this high stress area. The nipples come with a square head so you can achieve precise tensioning. Combining these components well is key which is why all Hunt wheels are hand-built.

NIPPLES - To accompany these high-end spokes we selected brass nipples for our Hunt 4Season wheels. Brass is strong and corrosion resistant plus it has self-lubricating properties to prevent issues that can arise from grit salt on the winter roads corroding the fine threads in alloy nipples. As well as the standard square body we chose nipples with a hex head so you can achieve precise tensioning.

RIM BED - H-Lock tubeless-ready rim bed profile. H-Lock is our tubeless-ready rim bed profile with up-kicks to the shoulders of the tubeless steps which help to create a great rim-well seal for first installation and easy sealing of tubeless tyres. The H-Lock profile also locks the beads in place more securely once seated. This is especially important when running lower pressures off road.

WEIGHT - The consequence of the fanatic attention to detail is incredible durability and a resulting low 1,680g gram wheelset weight. Acceleration and climbing are massively improved over many of the stock wheels supplied on road/gravel/CX disc brake bikes.
