Born from over 10 years of expertise , the Pro5 , now in its 5th generation , pushes the boundaries of performance even further. Lighter than ever , these wheels are 100g lighter than the previous model, offering a bike that is responsive, agile, and explosive when accelerating. Designed for cyclists seeking absolute lightness and efficiency in the mountains, they excel in big climbs as well as in the most demanding changes of pace. The integration of our new SSR hub multiplies performance tenfold, while the advanced aerodynamic work and optimized geometry ensure perfect compatibility with modern tire sections, such as those used by World Tour riders .

RESEARCH & DEVELOPMENT

We mobilized all our technological resources to design a wheel with unprecedented characteristics. Thanks to cutting-edge CFD studies, conducted with advanced simulation software, and close collaboration with Hutchinson engineers, we developed a geometry perfectly optimized for tires from 700x28c to 700x35c. In 2026, 30mm will become the new standard in the World Tour. Our new geometry anticipates this evolution and positions itself at the forefront of performance, creating perfect synergy between the rim and the tire.

FEATURES

• CARBON EDGE 20: Wheels crafted with this fiber (found in PRO 4/5 series) are roughly 100 g lighter per pair than standard models and offer significantly higher rigidity. The E.D.G.E. 20 carbon layup has been validated by the UCI and raced by professional continental teams, winning events like the Étape du Tour. It allows for wide rim profiles which are aerodynamically optimized for 25 mm to 32 mm tubeless or clincher tires. 
• SUPER SSR CERAMIC HUB SET OPTION: It provides significantly less rolling resistance and better durability compared to traditional steel bearings. It commonly comes in a 54T (Tooth) ratchet configuration, which ensures rapid hub engagement (about 6.6° between engagement points) for instant power transfer and sharp acceleration. The inclusion of ceramic and precision-machined aluminum allows the hub assembly to be exceptionally lightweight, contributing to total wheelset weights as low as 1330g to 1445g depending on the rim depth. Ratchet 36T Engagement.
• LEGEND R27 HUB SET OPTION: It supports Legend R27 DUAL Kit, an innovative cycling system that allows you to swap bike wheels in seconds without removing or adjusting the cassette, brake disc, or derailleur. Inspired by motorcycle wheel changes, the drivetrain and cassette remain attached to the frame while you swap your wheels instantly. Exclusively designed to work with Legend R27 hubs on road and gravel bikes that use standard 12 x 142mm thru-axles. The system is compatible with 9, 10, 11, and 12-speed Shimano and SRAM cassettes. 6 Ratchets 27T - 54T Engagement.
• LASER FINISH: New paint-free finish: flawlessly polished mold, laser-engraved markings. An 8% weight reduction compared to the previous model, without compromising rigidity.
• INTEGRATED VALVE INTERFACE: All our rims incorporate a new molding around the valve. This interface improves tubeless tightening and valve locking.
• UCI APROVED: Our rims are UCI approved and exceed the official test requirements by more than 4 times. Extreme reliability validated on the road by our continental teams, including Minimax DARE.
• HAND ASSEMBLED IN FRANCE: Each Legend Wheels® wheel is entirely hand-assembled by a skilled operator in our workshop. The assembly process takes two days, allowing the wheel to naturally settle between each step, in addition to the mechanical cracking. Each wheel then undergoes 100% inspection using high-precision electronic measuring instruments. This rigorous procedure guarantees our customers maximum precision, balanced tension, and exceptional reliability – the hallmark of Legend Wheels® quality.
