THE PURPOSE

최고 수준의 충격 상성과 확실한 내구성을 제공하기 위해서 업그레이드된 3세대 엔듀로 산악자전거 휠셋으로 World-class rider들이 3년 동안의 집중적인 테스트로 본 휠셋을 완벽하게 만드는데 도움을 주었습니다. Enduro V3 rim은 전륜과 후륜의 독자적인 형상을 가지며 매우 강한 알루미늄 합금으로 6061보다 30% 향상되었습니다. H_Ratchet XL hub를 중심으로 빌딩되어 상당한 토크도 충분히 감당할 수 있도록 개발되었습니다.

헌트 엔지니어들은 다른 주요 경쟁휠셋들과 비교하여 충격 저항성을 엄격하게 실험실에서 테스트를 진행하였는데 작은 덴트들이 생기는 데미지 시작점의 하중 에너지와 라이딩을 할 수 없는 수준의 휠상태에서의 하중 에너지를 측정하여 전륜과 후륜의 충격 강도를 계량화하여 전체적인 충격 저항성의 실제치를 제공할 수 있었습니다. 그 결과 Hunt Enduro V3 휠셋은 560 joules라는 전체 하중 에너지 수준으로 같은 카테고리중에서 가장 높은 수준의 충격 저항성을 확보하였습니다.

• FRONT REAR SPECIFIC PERFOMRNACE: 전륜과 후륜은 상이한 하중을 감당하기에 전륜은 31.5mm 내부림폭을 적용하여 관용성(compliance)과 컨트롤 성능을 감안하였고 후륜은 30mm 내부림폭의 V자 형상을 적용하여 강성과 충격 저항성을 감안하였다. 
• FEA OPTIMIZED RIM STRENGTH: 146 시간의 FEA design이 적용된 V자 림형상은 전통적인 둥근 림형상에 비해 40% 정도 스포크 스트레스를 줄여주고 13% 정도 충격 스트레스를 줄여준다. 
• DURABILITY DRIVEN DETAILS: 피로도와 부식에 강한 브라스 니플을 적용하였고 림 워셔는 스트레스 분산을 해주며 실드처리된 Enduro™ ABEC5 bearing은 어떠한 조건에서도 부드러운 구름성을 보여줍니다.
• H_RATCHET XL HUB: H_Ratchet XL hub는 낮아진 무게에서도 내구성을 보장하며 9도의 체격각도로 페달 킥백(pedal kickback)을 최소화해주며 대구경 ratchet ring은 높은 토크부하를 감당해줍니다. 17mm axle, Enduro ABEC5 bearings, 그리고 향상된 sealing이 적용되었습니다.

• Rims | 컨트롤 성능을 위한 31.5mm 더 넓은 전륜과 강성을 위한 30mm 폭의  V-shaped rim을 적용하였습니다. 6061 알루미늄보다 30% 강성이 높은 고급 알루미늄을 사용하였으며 Finite Element Analysis (FEA) design 적용으로 불필요한 무게를 감량했으며 H-lock bead 적용으로 손쉽게 튜브리스 타이어 장착이 가능합니다. 매트 블랙 색상에 벗겨질 걱정없는 레이저 각인된 그래픽이 적용되었습니다. 
• Hubs | H_Ratchet XL 40T hub 적용으로 9°도의 체결각도와 상단한 토크를 감당할 수 있는 대구셩 라쳇 디스크를 가집니다. 6볼투 마운트와 미로형 베어링 실링을 가진 6066-T6 aluminum alloy를 CNC가공하한 허브쉘과 대구경 17mm 7075-T6 액슬 적용으로 휨을 방지하고 베어링 수명을 연장해줍니다. H_CERAMIK freehub coating으로 카세트로부터 손상을 막아줍니다. 모든 현존하는 프리허브 양식과 호환됩니다.
• Bearings I 풀실링이 적용된 Enduro™ ABEC5 LLU bearing을 적용하여 진흙, 먼지, 물들의 침투를 최소화하여 모든 시즌에서 부드럽게 구동됩니다. 
• Spokes I 트리플 버티드되고 강화된 헤드를 가진 Pillar T302 stainless spokes가 전륜 28개 후륜 32개 3크로스 패턴으로 장착되어 강성과 탄력성의 완벽한 균형을 발휘합니다. 블랙 스테인레스 마감으로 부식 저항성이 높아 시즌후에도 견고한 상태를 유지합니다.

• Tires | 최적 타이어는 2.35" ~ 2.6" 이며 2.3"~2.8" 타이어까지 안전하게 장착하여 사용가능합니다.

• Maximum Tire Pressure l 튜브 사용시 최대 60psi / 튜브리스경우 최대 50psi. 최대 공기압을 초과하지 마세요. 휠셋의 피로도를 줄여주는 최대 40 PSI 공기압을 권장합니다.

Whether it’s an EDR race weekend or rowdy laps at your local bike park, the Enduro V3 is built to endure. World-class riders helped us perfect these wheels through three years of obsessive testing. Enduro V3 rims feature front/rear-specific profiles made from ultra-strong aluminum alloy—30% stronger than standard 6061. Hand-built around our H_Ratchet XL hubs designed to handle massive torque without complaint.

The HUNT engineering team rigorously lab-tested the Enduro V3’s impact resistance, comparing it to key competitors. They measured the energy required for initial damage (minor dents) and failure (when the wheel becomes unrideable), quantifying impact strength for both front and rear wheels. The results were combined into a total energy rating, offering a true measure of overall impact resistance. What sets the Enduro V3 apart is its exceptional performance in both initial damage and failure energy, achieving a total energy rating of 560 joules—among the highest in its category.

FEATURES

FRONT REAR SPECIFIC PERFOMRNACE: Front and rear wheels endure distinct forces. The front rim’s 31.5mm internal width enhances compliance and control, while the rear’s 30mm, reinforced V-shaped profile provides strength and impact resistance.

FEA OPTIMIZED RIM STRENGTH: 146 hours of FEA design work later, the V-shaped rim profile reduced spoke stress by 40% and impact stress by 13% compared to traditional rounded rim profiles. Learn about our FEA development process here.

H_RATCHET XL HUB: The H_Ratchet XL hub offers durability at reduced weight, with 9-degree engagement to minimize pedal kickback, oversized ratchet ring for high torque loads, 17mm stepped axle, Enduro ABEC5 bearings, and enhanced sealing.

• Rims | A wider (31.5mm) front wheel for control. A narrower, V-shaped (30mm) rear wheel for strength. Both built from premium aluminum, 30% stronger than standard 6061. Finite Element Analysis (FEA) design eliminates excess weight, while H-lock bead seat makes tubeless setup painless. Matte black, shot-peened finish with laser-etched graphics that won't peel off.
• Hubs | Our H_Ratchet XL 40T hub delivers 9° engagement with an oversized ratchet disc that handles massive torque. CNC'd from 6066-T6 aluminum alloy with 6-bolt mount and labyrinth-bearing seals. The oversized 17mm 7075-T6 stepped axle prevents flex and extends bearing life, while H_CERAMIK freehub coating prevents cassette damage. Compatible with all freehub standards.
• Bearings I We use Enduro™ ABEC5 LLU bearings with full-contact seals because they laugh off mud, dust, and water while spinning smoothly for seasons. True fit-and-forget reliability means you'll be sending new lines—not maintaining wheels.
• Spokes I Pillar T302 stainless spokes with triple butting and reinforced heads. 28 front/32 rear in a 3-cross pattern for the perfect balance of strength and flex. Black stainless finish fights corrosion so your wheels stay solid season after season.

• Tires | Optimised for 2.35" to 2.6" tyres whilst working well with 2.3" up to 2.8".

• Maximum Tire Pressure l 60psi with an inner tube / 50psi with a tubeless. Please do not exceed the maximum pressure stated on your tire.

• Rider Max Weight I 120kgs is the upper recommended rider weight limit for these wheels. Please include the weight of any luggage in your total rider weight when choosing the correct wheels. If a rider is over 110Kgs then an experienced bike mechanic should check the wheel regularly and it is advisable to use tires at max 40psi as this will reduce the fatigue on the wheelset.
