THE PURPOSE

The 25 Carbon Gravel X-Wide was engineered to thrive where adventure begins and pavement ends. Reinforced with our proven H_Core carbon technology, borrowed from our mountain bike wheel, it’s designed for wide gravel and up to 2.5" MTB tyres, loaded bikepacking setups, and demanding singletrack. With a durable build with a weight of just 1472g and 27mm internal rim width, it strikes the balance between rugged capability and all-day efficiency. For ultimate compatibility, we now offer this wheelset with Boost spacing allowing you to go further, ride harder, and leave the worry behind.

RIMS: H_Core reinforcement technology increases impact resistance significantly, resulting in the strongest gravel rims on the market. The 27mm-wide internal profile enhances strength and durability, with a reinforced layup and oversized sidewall dimensions to reduce the risk of pinch flats and enhance impact resistance. The 25 Carbon Gravel X-Wide also features an asymmetric rim profile with compliance and impact resistance top of mind so you can worry less.

RELIABLE  AND FAST ENGAGING HUB: The HUNT H_Ratchet 36T SGL hubset provides a 10-degree engagement angle with improved durability, offering increased engagement surface area while using less shell materials relative to our race-proven pawl-based systems. Ships with Dumonde Tech Pro X freehub grease applied for long service life and contamination resistance. Available in Boost and non-Boost spacing.

ROBUST WHEEL BUILD: A 28 spoke count front and rear ensures a more even force distribution across the wheel, reducing strain on individual components. This is paired with brass nipples, creating a wheelset ideal for fully loaded setups and rough terrain where durability matters most.

IMPROVED TRACTION AND ROLLING RESISTANCE: Enhanced comfort, better control, and lower rolling resistance, the HUNT 25 Carbon Gravel X-Wide is engineered with a 27mm internal rim width to accommodate tyres up to 65mm.

ENHANCED SPOKE HOLE DURABILITY: Engineered with angular spoke patches to reduce stress at the spoke holes and provide accurate nipple alignment for a stronger, more reliable build.

FREEHUB BODY: Hunt는 내구성을 매우 중시하기때문에 H_CERAMIK coating을 개발하여 탁월한 내구성을 확보하고 다른 일반적인 프리허브 바디에서 발견되는 카세트에 의한 damages를 방지하도록 하였다. 

BEARINGS: 휠의 심장이라고 할 수 있는 베어링은 그만큼 많은 투자를 할 가치가 있는 부품이다. Hunt는 일본 EZO가 제작한 고급 정밀 smooth-rolling sealed cartridge bearings을 사용한다.

SPOKES: 최고급 라인인 Pillar Spoke Re-enforcement PSR XTRA model을 사용한다. 이 butted blade aero spokes는 더 가볍고 텐션을 유지하고 피로도 저항성을 향상시킬 수 있도록 더 높은 탄성을 제공한다. 이 PSR J-bend spokes는 높은 스트레스가 가해지는 spoke head 부위의 지름을 2.2mm로 하여 강성을 높였으며 사각 헤드를 가진 nipples을 적용하여 보다 정밀한 텐션 조정이 가능하도록 하였다. 

NIPPLES: Brass nipples are used for their corrosion resistance, proven durability, especially in adverse conditions and help maintain consistent spoke tension, removing the risk of seizing. Every detail is designed with your riding in mind.

As a result, we've developed the H_CERAMIK coating to provide excellent durability and protect against cassette sprocket damage often seen on standard alloy freehub bodies.
