THE PURPOSE

The HUNT Adventure 650B Carbon Wheelset is designed to serve as the ultimate adventure vehicle. Built off the same platform as our rugged 25 Carbon Gravel X-Wide, this wheelset turns any gravel bike into a versatile 'go anywhere' attitude. Perfect for those fun trail thrashes and bikepacking adventures, whilst not compromising on the ride characteristics you know and love from HUNT gravel wheels. 

TECHNOLOGY

H_Core reinforcement technology increases impact resistance significantly over the previous iteration of rim design. Pultruded carbon fibre hoops are moulded into the critical joint between the sidewall and rim bed on both sides of the rim, creating a skeleton-like structure to build the rim around. This technology improves compaction at the joint, eliminating porosity and creating a stronger, more consistent final carbon fibre layup construction.

• RELIABLE & FAST ENGAGING HUB: HUNT H_Ratchet 36T SGL hub system with J-bend spoke interface and extra bearing shielding. 10° engagement angle with 36-tooth ratchet internals.
• ENHANCED CARBON HOLE DURABILITY: Carbon layup engineered with angular spoke patches to reduce stress at the spoke holes and provide accurate nipple alignment for a stronger, more reliable build.
• ADVENTURE READY BUILT: A 28-spoke build front and rear ensures a more even force distributionacross the wheel, reducing strain on individual components. Hand built with doublebutted Sapim spokes and brass nipples, creating a wheelset ideal for fullyloaded setups and rough terrain.

• Single 36T Ratchet Ring equals a 10° engagement angle.
• Forged and CNC’d 6061-T6 heat-treated aluminium alloy body.
• 7075-T6 aluminium alloy axles.

TYRE INFO

• HUNT recommends a 45-60mm tyre for best performance, tyre widths between 35mm and 65mm are also safe to use.
• Note: best performance is usually gained by using tyre pressures lowerthan the maximum, you can see our blog post about this read here. Tubeless-ready for lower weight and rolling resistance.
• Only use tyres suitable for hookless (TSS) rims. If unsure, please contact the tyre manufacturer. Leading brands, including Schwalbe, Continental and Vittoria, have many tyres suitable for hookless TSS rims.
• You must not exceed the maximum tyre pressure limits set out in the table below or the maximum limit set by your tyre manufacturer if this is lower.

MAXIMUM WEIGHT

Max system weight 135 kg (system weight – total weight of fully kitted up rider, bike and luggage). If the system is over 110 kg then an experienced bike mechanic should check the wheel regularly.
