Hunt 4 Season Carbon Dura 휠셋은 가벼운 휠셋 무게를 유지하면서도 악조건 기후에서의 라이딩을 위해 세부적인 튜닝을 거쳤고 무게제한도 가장 높은 수준으로 올린 4시즌 라인업에서의 최초 카본모델이다. 여러 노면들을 공략하거나 그래블 코스들을 정복하거나 겨울 도로 훈련 라이딩을 하더라도 진보된 카본림으로 수제작되고 4 Season 라쳇 허브, 트리플 버티드 스포크로 다협없이 탁월한 내구성을 제공한다. 

TECHNOLOGY

HUNT H_Ratchet 36T SGL hubset은 10도으 체결각도와 높은 무게대비 강성을 가져 빠른 가속이 가능한 1,478그램의 무게를 가진다. 증가된 스포크 갯수(전륜 24개, 후륜 28개), 어버사이즈 실드 카드리지 베어링, 부식저항성이 높은 브라스 니플 적용으로 도로의 오염물질과 날씨와 상관없이 신뢰성과 긴 서비스 수명을 제공한다. 22mm 내부림폭을 가진 더 넓어진 림형상적용으로 25mm에서 50mm 타이어까지 장착하여 운영이 가능하여 새로운 루트들을 발굴하고 자신있게 도전하게 해준다. 새롭게 개선된 카본 레이업은 특별히 전체 휠셋의 강성을 최대화시켜주었다.

• TUNED CARBON LAYUP: 휠셋의 강성과 내구성을 최대화하기 위해 디자인되어 카본 적층 방법도 완전히 새롭게 적용되어 낮은 휠셋 무게를 유지하면서도 추가적인 내구성 보강을 할 수 있었다. 단방향 카본 섬유 림 구조와 스포크홀은 3K 카본으로 추가 보강되었으며 주로 적용된 카본은 Toray T700으로 높은 충격 저항성과 유연성을 제공한다. 카본 적층과정에서 V:Absorb resin이 적용되고 더 낮은 온도의 오븐에서 제작되어 부스러지는 성격을 감소시켜주었다. 이는 더 강한 충격 저항성과 더 효과적인 진동흡수력을 제공한다. 
• RELIABLE & FAST ENGAGING HUB: HUNT H_Ratchet 36T SGL hub는 라쳇 이빨 전체적으로 부하가 더 잘 분배되는 10° 체결각도가 적용되어 pawl-based system 보다 더 적은 부품을 사용하면서도 더 넓은 체격 면적을 제공한다. Dumonde Tech Pro X freehub grease가 적용되어 긴 서비스 수명과 오염 저항성을 가진다. 15mm thru-axles이 적용되어 모든 현대적인 로드와 그래블 자전거에 장착이 가능하다.

TYRE INFO

25-35mm 타이어 장착시 최상의 성능 발휘하며 25~50mm 타이어까지 장착하여 안전하게 사용 가능. 최상의 성능은 보통 최대 허용 공기압보다 낮을 경우 발휘되므로 상황에 맞는 공기압을 체크후 적용하세요. 더 낮은 무게와 구름저항을 위한 튜브리스 타이어 장착 가능. 또한 표준 클린처 타이어와 튜브도 장착 가능. 아래 표기된 최대 공기압 허용치를 절대 넘기지 마세요.    

MAXIMUM WEIGHT

The HUNT 4 Season range has always stood as our answer to those riders on how to maximise durability without compromising the ride characteristics of their winter training bike. The 4 Season Carbon Dura is the range’s first carbon wheelset tuned specifically for adverse weather riding and our highest system weight limit in a lightweight and capable package. Whether you're venturing onto mixed surface rides, conquering CX/Gravel courses, or hammering out road training miles through the winter's worst, our hand-built wheels with advanced carbon rims, 4 Season ratchet hubs, and triple-butted high-specification spokes offer durability without compromise.

TECHNOLOGY

Equipped with the HUNT H_Ratchet 36T SGL hubset, providing a 10-degree engagement angle and high strength-to-weight ratio, resulting in a low wheelset weight of just 1478g for quick acceleration. The increased spoke count, oversized double-sealed cartridge bearings, and corrosion-resistant brass nipples provide reliability and long service life, no matter the weather. The wider rim profile with 22mm internal width accommodates modern road and gravel tires ranging from 25mm all the way up to 50mm, allowing you to confidently roam and discover new routes. A modified carbon lay-up specifically maximising strength for the whole wheelset, hand-built with brass spoke nipples and 24 spokes front and 28 spokes rear for extra durability to handle all the salt, rain, potholes and ruts that your winter riding demands.

• TUNED CARBON LAYUP: Designed to maximise the strength and durability of the wheelset, the carbon layup has been completely re-worked to bring in additional durability while still achieving a low wheelset weight. Unidirectional carbon fiber rim construction, with 3k reinforcement at spoke holes for greater durability. The layup is comprised primarily of Toray T700 fibers which offer high impact resistance and flexibility. V:Absorb resin is blended in the carbon layering process, which cures at a lower temperature. Lower temperature resin reduces brittleness, resulting in greater impact resistance and more effective vibration dampening.
• RELIABLE & FAST ENGAGING HUB: The HUNT H_Ratchet 36T SGL hub provides a 10° engagement angle with greater load distribution across the ratchet teeth, offering increased engagement surface area while using less shell materials relative to our race-proven pawl-based systems. Ships with Dumonde Tech Pro X freehub grease applied for long service life and contamination resistance. Compatible with 15mm thru-axles for adaptability for all modern road and gravel bikes. The ratchet mechanism reduces shell material resulting in a lighter, more durable, and easily serviceable hub.
• ROBUST WHEEL BUILDING: Hand-built with brass nipples and a higher 24/28 spoke count, ensures a more even force distribution across the wheel while creating a wheelset ideal for bikepacking or rack set-ups. Ideal for heavier riders (145kg system weight limit) and rough terrain where durability matters most.
• ADDED VISABILITY: Night-safe reflective decals on rim add visibility during low-light and night riding.

• Updated drive system with nickel coating to maximise the longevity of the product, combined with a silicone insert in the centre of the ratchets to reduce weight as well as dampen vibrations inside the hub, creating a quieter ride.

SPOKES

• 24 front and 28 rear spokes laced 2-cross pattern to increase durability.

• Pillar spokes made from Sandvik T302 (18/10) stainless steel.  
• Triple butted 2.0-1.7-2.0 (then 2.2 at the head for the patented Pillar Spoke Re-enforcement). Higher gauge spoke add strength to the wheelset over its Carbon Disc equivalent.  
• Patented Pillar Spoke Re-enforcement, butted again just before the spoke head providing more durability in high stress areas.

NIPPLES

• Brass for corrosion resistance and durability.  
• Square body for external adjustment and square internal head for easy internal adjustment/tensioning.  
• 16mm length with washer for a strong connection to the spoke and added durability.  
• 14 gauge.  
• Black anodised finish. 

BEARINGS

• Super smooth precision bearings with proprietary waterproof grease specially selected for even the worst weather.

TYRE INFO

HUNT recommends a 25-35mm tyre for best performance, tyre widths between 25mm and 50mm are also safe to use. Note: best performance is usually gained by using tyre pressures lower than the maximum, you can see our blog post about this, read here.   

Tubeless-ready for lower weight and rolling resistance. Also designed to work excellently with standard clincher tyres and inner tubes  You must not exceed the maximum tyre pressure limits set out in the table below or the maximum limit set by your tyre manufacturer if this is lower.   

MAXIMUM WEIGHT

Max system weight 145 kg (system weight – total weight of fully kitted up rider, bike and luggage). If the system is over 120 kg then an experienced bike mechanic should check the wheel regularly.
